walls of solariums include insulating units
assembled with safety tempered or safety
laminated glass¹. Tempered glass offers
a high strength-to thickness ratio but has
in the past often been limited to longer
runs of the complex shapes available in
low runs of laminated glass assembled
with plies of annealed glass.

Ideas include bent glass with low-emissivity
coatings, insulating space argon gas fills,
and triangular shape cuts for hip joints.
